New Year's Holiday Hours
The library will be open regular Saturday hours, 9:00 - 5:00, on New Year's Eve. We will be closed Monday, January 2. We will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Tuedsay, January 3. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Make and Take- Today!
Today from 4-6 in the Clymer room, you can make a color scratch ornament and take it with you! This is open to all ages. Stop by the Clymer room and make your ornament. It is free!

Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

Summer Change Up
We are in the process of redesigning our Summer Reading Program for the elementary and preschool kids. Next summer, 2012, it will no longer be done on the computer.

Family Story Time
Brianne presents Family Story Time for kids ages six and under, at 7:00 PM, Tuedsay, November 22. She will share books about the Farm. Great opportunity for a special time with your child before the hubub of the holidays. Come in your pajamas if you want to!

Kansas Reads to Preschoolers -Tomorrow at Preschool Story Time
Tomorrow at Preschool Story Time we are participating in Kansas Reads to Preschoolers when we read "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" by Kansas author Bill Martin, Jr.! Preschool Story Time is for kids aged 3 to 5 years and their parent or caregiver.
We meet in the Clymer room for 30 minutes with songs, stories and a craft! See you there!

Earthquake in Oklahoma! Shake, Rattle and Roll!
Did any of you feel the earthquake late Saturday night! I did! I was in Oklahoma and it was pretty exciting. I had never been in a earthquake before and was suprised by how much noise there was! It sounded like really loud, rumbling thunder.
I made this list of books about earthquakes that we have in the Children's Department. Come in and check one out!
